FaceNiff - Facebook Session Hijacker for Android

FaceNiff is an Android app that allows you to sniff and intercept web session profiles over the WiFi that your mobile is connected to.
It is possible to hijack sessions only when WiFi is not using EAP, but it should work over any private networks (Open/WEP/WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK)

It's kind of like Firesheep for android. Maybe a bit easier to use (and it works on WPA2!).
Please note that if web user uses SSL this application won't work.
*Legal notice: this application is for educational purposes only. Do not try to use it if it's not legal in your country.*

Hack Whatsapp using Android Mobile

WhatsApp Sniffer :
WhatsAppSniffer is a tool for root terminals to read WhatsApp conversations of a WIFI network (Open, WEP, WPA/WPA2). It captures the conversations, pictures / videos and coordinates that are sent or received by an Android phone, iPhone or Nokia on the same WIFI network. It has not been tested with Windows Phone terminals. It can't read the messages written or received by the BlackBerry's, as they use their own servers and not WhatsApp's.

This application is designed to demonstrate that the security of WhatsApp's communications is null. WhatsAppSniffer just use the TCPDump program which reads all the WIFI network packets and filters those which has origin or destination WhatsApp's servers. All messages are in plain text, so it does not decrypt anything, complying fully with the legal terms of WhatsApp (3.C: "While we do not disallow the use of sniffers Such as Ethereal, tcpdump or HttpWatch in general, Any we do going efforts to disallow reverse-engineer our system, our protocols, or explore outside the boundaries of the ordinary requests made by clients WhatsApp
For WPA/WPA2 encrypted networks, it uses the tool ARPSpoof (optional).

Features:
 - For now, there is only support for this characters:
 - Read conversations outgoing and incoming to Android, iPhone and Nokia phones.
 - They are separated by phone number
 - Notify when a message has been captured
 - Ability to start a debug session saving all logs

 - It matches phone numbers captured with agenda for coincidences

 (ROOT REQUIRED)

Legal Terms:

WhatsAppSniffer comes with absolutely no warranty. You use this software on your own risk. The developer is not responsible for any damages caused by WhatsAppSniffer or it´s usage. It´s only the users responsibility to check his country's laws in order to make sure that the usage of WhatsAppSniffer is permitted by law in his country. In some countries stealing someones conversations might be prohibited by law. Always think about what you´re doing! Stealing someones conversations can cause real trouble for him and maybe for you.

[NEWS] WhatsApp: Bigger Than Twitter

There are plenty of 99-cent smartphone app success stories, but few as big as WhatsApp.
First launched in 2009, the cross-platform messaging app has charted a stratospheric rise in popularity. Today, WhatsApp is the single-most-used independent smartphone app in nearly every country in the world. It has hundreds of millions of users, and processes as many as 20 billion messages per day. And, as CEO Jan Koum said onstage at D: Dive Into Mobile on Tuesday, WhatsApp is now bigger than Twitter, which officially claims 200 million monthly active users. The company daily processes eight billion inbound messages and 12 billion outbound.
That success has drawn attention from some big Internet companies. In the past six months alone, it has been a rumored acquisition target for Facebook and Google, though it has officially denied talks with both.
What’s it like being at the very center of the messaging app market land grab? And how does the company, which forgoes advertising in favor of a 99-cents-per-year subscription fee, propose to convert popularity into significant revenue?
Simple, said Koum. Build the platform and the revenue will follow.
“We’re looking forward to a world with billions of phones,” Koum said. “And once that happens it’s going to be extremely easy to monetize. But a lot more people need to join the smartphone revolution and a lot more people need to buy more goods on their phones.”
So why not rely on advertising for revenue in the meantime? There’s no chance of that happening, said Koum, citing WhatsApp’s anti-advertising philosophy.
“We do have a manifesto opposing advertising,” Koum said. “We’re proud of that. Who likes advertising? We’re so bombarded with ads so much in our daily lives and we felt that smartphones aren’t the place for that. Our phones are so intimately connected to us, to our lives. Putting advertising on a device like that is a bad idea. You don’t want to be interrupted by ads when you’re chatting with your loved ones.”
There are plenty of successful businesses that don’t use advertising, Koum observed. Gas. Water. “We want to be one of them. … Our monetization strategy is simple. One dollar a year. If we did something besides that, it would just get in the way. … We want a great product and great user experience.”

Completely Close/Exit WhatsApp in Symbian Phones

WhatsApp is currently one of the most popular mobile application across all categories and mobile platforms including Symbian OS. Being a live messenger/chatting app it remains always online and alive. which makes it a real battery hog. But the worst thing about Whatsapp is that it always run as a background process even if you are not using it. The fact is that you just can’t exit it via options or close by phone’s task switcher. So if you are annoyed by this feature of Whatsapp, this post is for you. Here is how you can get rid of this nuisance by completely closing WhatsApp so that it will not run in background and eat up valuable RAM and battery –
We need a powerful task manager app to solve this issue and NetQin Mobile Security is the perfect one. Best TaskMan can also be used for this purpose.
Using NetQin Mobile Security – Download it from here and install in your phone. NetQin will automatically launch (otherwise launch it via phones Menu). At the main interface select “SYS Optimization” and then “Running Apps”. Find and select Whatsapp from the list. Now select the “X” icon at the bottom left and then select “Yes” at the “Close selected process” prompt. NetQin will kill all three processes of Whatsapp to shut it down. Done!
There are two demerits with NetQin – one is that you will have to repeat this process every time WhatsApp is launched or the phone restarts and second is that NetQin is itself a stubborn app which runs permanently in background and controls calling, data usage, app installation and other functions of the phone. But unlike WhatsApp you can disable all of these functions from NetQin Settings.
Using Best TaskMan – Best TaskMan is a useful task manager app for Symbian which can also be used to close any app. Download it from here and install in your phone. Launch TaskMan and go to Menu/View/Processes. There will be three processes of WhatsApp running – WhatsApp.exe, LoggerServer.exe and ProcMgrServer.exe Now you will have to quickly close all the three one by one (long press at the process name and select “Terminate process” from popup) in the order – WhatsApp.exe then LoggerServer.exe then ProcMgrServer.exe I wrote quickly because if the procedure is delayed the processes will restart again. If this happens that processes start again and again then try this sequence – LoggerServer then WhatsApp then ProcMgrServer. When all the three processes close and do not reappear in the list, consider the procedure to be successful. Exit TaskMan but remember you will have to repeat this process every time phone restarts or you launch WhatApp manually.
Similarly you can also close NetQin processes via TaskMan.

Password cracking: A mega collection of password cracking word lists

On the internet you can find a lot of word lists that will help you to crack a password. But you will need a quality word list to get the job done. These word lists get provided by several penetration testing websites and communities. On several torrent websites you can find a lot of word lists.
Password cracking is the process of recovering passwords from data that has been stored in or transmitted by a computer system. A common approach is to repeatedly try guesses for the password. The purpose of password cracking might be to help a user recover a forgotten password (though installing an entirely new password is less of a security risk, but involves system administration privileges), to gain unauthorized access to a system, or as a preventive measure by system administrators to check for easily crackable passwords. On a file-by-file basis, password cracking is utilized to gain access to digital evidence for which a judge has allowed access but the particular file's access is restricted.

BIGGEST CYBER ATTACK CAUSING SLOWING DOWN OF INTERNET

The internet around the world has been slowed down in what security experts are describing as the biggest cyber-attack of its kind in history.
A row between a spam-fighting group and hosting firm has sparked retaliation attacks affecting the wider internet.
It is having an impact on popular services like Netflix - and experts worry it could escalate to affect banking and email systems.
Five national cyber-police-forces are investigating the attacks.
Spamhaus, a group based in both London and Geneva, is a non-profit organisation which aims to help email providers filter out spam and other unwanted content.
To do this, the group maintains a number of blocklists - a database of servers known to be being used for malicious purposes.
Recently, Spamhaus blocked servers maintained by Cyberbunker, a Dutch web host which states it will host anything with the exception of child pornography or terrorism-related material.
Sven Olaf Kamphuis, who claims to be a spokesman for Cyberbunker, said, in a message, that Spamhaus was abusing its position, and should not be allowed to decide "what goes and does not go on the internet".
Spamhaus has alleged that Cyberbunker, in cooperation with "criminal gangs" from Eastern Europe and Russia, is behind the attack.
Cyberbunker has not responded to the BBC's request for comment.
'Immense job' Steve Linford, chief executive for Spamhaus, told the BBC the scale of the attack was unprecedented.
"We've been under this cyber-attack for well over a week.

'Decapitating the internet'

Internet browser address bar
Writing exactly one year ago for the BBC, Prof Alan Woodward predicted the inherent weaknesses in the web's domain name system.
He wrote: "It is essentially the phone book for the internet. If you could prevent access to the phone book then you would effectively render the web useless."

"But we're up - they haven't been able to knock us down. Our engineers are doing an immense job in keeping it up - this sort of attack would take down pretty much anything else."
Mr Linford told the BBC that the attack was being investigated by five different national cyber-police-forces around the world.
He claimed he was unable to disclose more details because the forces were concerned that they too may suffer attacks on their own infrastructure.
The attackers have used a tactic known as Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), which floods the intended target with large amounts of traffic in an attempt to render it unreachable.
In this case, Spamhaus's Domain Name System (DNS) servers were targeted - the infrastructure that joins domain names, such as bbc.co.uk, the website's numerical internet protocol address.
Mr Linford said the attack's power would be strong enough to take down government internet infrastructure.
"If you aimed this at Downing Street they would be down instantly," he said. "They would be completely off the internet."
He added: "These attacks are peaking at 300 gb/s (gigabits per second).
"Normally when there are attacks against major banks, we're talking about 50 gb/s."
Clogged-up motorway The knock-on effect is hurting internet services globally, said Prof Alan Woodward, a cybersecurity expert at the University of Surrey.
"If you imagine it as a motorway, attacks try and put enough traffic on there to clog up the on and off ramps," he told the BBC.
"With this attack, there's so much traffic it's clogging up the motorway itself."
Arbor Networks, a firm which specialises in protecting against DDoS attacks, also said it was the biggest such attack they had seen.
"The largest DDoS attack that we have witnessed prior to this was in 2010, which was 100 gb/s. Obviously the jump from 100 to 300 is pretty massive," said Dan Holden, the company's director of security research.
"There's certainly possibility for some collateral damage to other services along the way, depending on what that infrastructure looks like."
Spamhaus said it was able to cope as it has highly distributed infrastructure in a number of countries.
The group is supported by many of the world's largest internet companies who rely on it to filter unwanted material.
Mr Linford told the BBC that several companies, such as Google, had made their resources available to help "absorb all of this traffic".
The attacks typically happened in intermittent bursts of high activity.
"They are targeting every part of the internet infrastructure that they feel can be brought down," Mr Linford said.
"Spamhaus has more than 80 servers around the world. We've built the biggest DNS server around."
